History of creation
It was built in 1938 Kohaviny Pulp and Paper Plant. Its production began in January 1939. Before the Great Patriotic War, the plant produced 2.5 tons of pulp and 12 tons of paper per day. During the German occupation, the plant was almost completely destroyed, so its activity resumed only in 1945.
In the mid-1960s, the plant not only fully supplied itself with sulfate pulp for paper production, but also 47% of its total output was sent to other enterprises of Ukraine. Of the total amount of twine paper produced in the Soviet Union, 80% was produced Kokhavinsky CPK.
In 1979 Kokhavynska PF entered the composition Zhydachivsky Central Committee. The main types of products at that time were twine paper, wrapping paper, base for adhesive tape, paraffined paper, sulfate cellulose, paper cord.
In 1995 Kokhavynska PF seceded from the Zhydachiv CPK.
On December 26, 1995, by order of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, OJSC Papirnyk Prykarpattia was established in the Lviv region, the charter of which included the following activities:
production of paper, adhesive tape, twine paper, consumer goods.
In December 1996, the meeting of shareholders adopted a decision to rename Papirnyk Prykarpattia OJSC toOJSC “Kokhavynska PF».
In 1997, the shareholders’ meeting decided to reconstruct the paper machine. On December 14, 1997, the machine for the production of toilet paper was put into operation.
In 1999, another paper machine was purchased.
The successor of Loza LLC is JSC «Kokhavynska PF». OJSC “Kokhavynska PF” functions as a business entity without the creation of subsidiaries, branches, or representative offices. It conducts its economic activities in accordance with the charter, the latest edition of which was registered by the State Registrar of the Zhydachiv District State Administration on April 24, 2007 under No. 13971050001000200.
In March 2011, at the shareholders’ meeting, a decision was made to rename OJSC “Kokhavynska PF” to PJSC “Kokhavynska PF”.
On April 29, 2020, PJSC “Kokhavynska PF” was renamed JSC “Kokhavynska PF”.
To date, JSC “Kokhavyn Paper Mill” has undergone reconstruction of equipment, installed a new boiler room, increased the range of products for sanitary and hygienic purposes. Work is constantly being carried out to expand production, improve product quality and sanitary working conditions. Work
factory shows concern for future generations, ensuring the preservation of a favorable environment.
